4-lined text LCD offers clear identification while protocol setting and status monitoring.

Main menu secreen is displayed when this button is pressed from initial screen. Displayed screen moves to previous step when this button is pressed.

Rotating jog-dial clockwise direction moves cursor on the display down(right) of increases set values. Rotating jog-dial in counter-clockwise direction moves cursor on the display up(left) and decreases set values. Pressing jog-dial selects the menu where cursor is located.

LED indicator is illuminated in two different colors-blue and red. Blue LED indicates that the instrument is idle and ready for use, i.e. PCR cycle is being performed. LED is turned off when prompted PCR cycles are finished.

Selected PCR protocel is executed when this button is pressed. Currently performed PCR cycle is immediately stopped when this button is pressed while the instrument is running.

Automatically presses upper surface of chip when the drawer is closed.

This is the point where the chip is loaded for PCR cycles. Flat surface is heated and cooled during thermal cycling.

Holes which air flows into the instrument through.

This is the module transporting the chip into the instrument. Mechanically stable structure and robust design offers soft movement and maintenance-free features of this frequently used part.

Chip drawer is gently opened and upper sealing cap on the heating plate is automatically lifted when this bar is softly pressed.

  • GENECHECKER® adopted special polymer chip (Rapi:chip™)
    which enables even faster thermal treatment of the reaction samples
    it than the case of using PCR tubes at conventional
    PCR instruments. 8 °C/sec The average ramping speed of the instrument reaches 8°C/second for both heating and cooling through its sophisticated thermal cycling mechanism.

02 Innovative detection mechanism ensures reliable
results of anlaysis.

  • Integrated CMOS module of GENECHECKER® UF-150 system fully monitors and records the fluorescence signal of samples during reaction process and the recorded signals are processed and displayed within GeneRecorder software for real-time analysis. GENECHECKER® UF-150 system provides precise result of reactions using its unique data processing method at affordable price as it doesn’t use photodiode based optical system which is relative costly and being commonly used at conventional real-time PCR systems.

Real-time amplification curves are displayed in this section.

As a tool of post-reaction analysis, melt cycle is performed and the change of fluorescent signal of each sample during melting process is displayed in this section once the cycle is completed.

Melting peaks of samples are displayed in this section to differentiate the melting temperature of each sample.

Real-time amplification curves are displayed in this section.

Multiple amplification curves can be merged in this section to create a standard curve of certain assay.

Created standard curve is displayed in this section and the linearity and the efficiency of the curve can be reviewed.

Up to 50 samples can be loaded in this section for quantitation on the basis of certain standard curve.

Amplification curves of the samples for quantitation is displayed here. The standard curve to be used for quantitation can be reviewed in this section as well.

Rapi:chip™ PCR Chip for GENECHECKER®

New sample format has created big advantages.

Two types of PCR chip are available for real-time PCR and general DNA amplification.

01 New PCR concept was born when precision molding
technology had been converged with microfluidic technology.

  • The key for achieving ultra-fast gene amplification is rapid heating
    and cooling of the sample. Rapi:chip™ was developed from
    understanding of the challenges in routine PCR tasks. PCR duration
    could be dramatically reduced when efficient heat transfer is made
    during thermal cycling process. Genesystem's own technology of
    manufacturing precise 3-dimensional polymer chips leveraged by
    its film bonding know-how created new sample format, Rapi:chip™
    for PCR applications. Sample is loaded into wide flat wells in the chip
    with the volume of 10μl. Bottom surface of Rapi:chip™ which is in tight
    contact with heat block is made of thin film so that efficient heat
    transfer from heat block to the sample in the chip is facilitated. As a
    certified manufacturer, Genesystem is manufacturing all Rapi:chip™
    line of products in accordance with GMP guidelines.

02 Two types of PCR chip are supplied for real-time analysis
and thermal cycling.

  • Rapi:chip™ is supplied in two formats. Standard version of chip
    has 10 wells and the top of each well is open for real-time analysis
    of fluorescence signal. Rapi:chip/16™ is a new version which can
    accommodate 16 samples in it and is ideal for amplifying more
    samples at once.

These parts are used for easy handling with fingers or tweezers.

Well number is printed on the upper surface of chip for easy identification.

Pipette tip fits in these apertures so that sample and reagent could be loaded or collected easily.

HOW TO LOAD SAMPLES

  • STEP 01.

    Prepare sample according to
    suggested protocol. Volume of
    reaction cocktail should be 10μl.

  • STEP 02.

    Using micropipette, aspirate
    prepared reaction cocktail (10μl).

  • STEP 03.

    Place pipette tip into the inlet hole
    of Rapi:chip™ and dispense whole
    volume of aspirated sample.

  • STEP 04.

    Seal entire holes using enclosed
    sealing tape. Scrub the surface of
    sealed area to secure sealing.
